Terms & Conditions
The rules governing use of the VulnX platform. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
Section 01
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the VulnX platform ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Section 02
Authorized scanning only
You may scan only: systems you own, systems for which you have explicit written authorization to test, or systems within a legally recognized bug-bounty program that authorizes automated testing.
You are solely responsible for ensuring every scan you run is authorized. Unauthorized scanning may be a criminal or civil offense in your jurisdiction.
Section 03
Prohibited activity
Unauthorized scanning
Scanning government, military, or other systems without explicit written authorization from the target owner.
Disruption
Attacking, disrupting, or degrading any third-party service, including denial-of-service activity.
Unauthorized access
Attempting to access, modify, or exfiltrate data you are not authorized to access.
Infrastructure abuse
Launching scans at rates that harm the Service or its infrastructure, or circumventing rate limits and security controls.
Illegal use
Using the Service to facilitate any illegal activity, or creating accounts to evade a suspension or ban.
Section 04
User responsibilities
Section 05
Acceptable use & abuse
The Service includes rate limits and quotas to protect shared infrastructure. Abuse, including attempts to bypass these limits, may result in throttling, suspension, or termination of your account. We may remove or block scan activity that we reasonably determine to be abusive.
Section 06
Service limitations
Section 07
Account termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, that are used for unauthorized scanning, or that otherwise abuse the Service. You may delete your account at any time.
Section 08
Intellectual property
The Service, its software, and its documentation are the property of the Service operator. Scan results you generate belong to you, but you grant us a license to store and process them to operate the Service.
Section 09
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any reliance on scan results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Section 10
Responsible use
We expect users to act responsibly: disclose findings to the affected party, do not exploit vulnerabilities beyond what is needed to confirm them, and do not publicly disclose vulnerabilities without coordination.
Section 11
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
